Provincial Finals contestants — check-in is open and the fun is already happening at the 3 Flat Industries Arena!
The music is pumping, the check-in crew is ready, and our FREE photo booth is waiting for you. Grab your friends, snap a few photos, and kick off your Provincial Finals experience before the rodeo action gets underway.
While you’re there, don’t forget to pick up your Provincial Qualifier shirt if you haven’t already. Shirts are available through the check-in office at the 3 Flat Industries Arena.
Need a new qualifier jacket? D1 and D2 qualifier jackets are ready for pickup in the Wrangler Arena from Coyote Designs.
Come say hi to the check-in ladies, grab your gear, take a photo, and get ready to rodeo!
Oops… we double-booked ourselves.
Earlier today we announced that tie down calves would be tied at 1:00 PM in the 3 Flat Industries Arena. Unfortunately, we forgot that the Goat Tying Jackpot had already claimed that timeslot.
Tie down calves will now be tied at the conclusion of the Goat Tying Jackpot in the 3 Flat Industries Arena.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate our first year hosting Provincial Finals. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and cooperation.
We’ll keep the updates coming!

Since 1972 the Alberta High School Rodeo Association has been supporting youth development in the sport of rodeo in Alberta. With over 700 members in three districts, we provide rodeos across the province to Junior High and High School members.
With over 50 years behind us, we strive to continue the support the fundamentals of western heritage for our youth. The sport of rodeo is more than weekends spent with friends, it’s where friends become family and lifelong connections are built.

Memberships for the 2024-2025 season will open on July 1, 2024.
Find out what’s involved and how to become a member.
D2 represents the central portion of the province, with rodeos typically being held between Highway 16 and Highway 1.
D1 has rodeos in the northern part of the province, typically from Highway 16 and north.
D1 rodeos are held in the southern part of the province, typically between Highway 1 and the Canada US Border.
The AHSRA operates as three (3) districts within the province for both the High School and Junior Divisions. Contestants can choose which district they rodeo in. Each district has their own executive directors that sit on the provincial board. Year end prizes are awarded within each district and 10-12 contestants from each district qualify for the provincial finals.

ASHRA provides youth opportunities for rodeo in two division – Junior High and High School. Read more about each division

The Junior High Division is for members who are in
Grades 5-8.
The High School Division is for members who are in Grades 9-12.

Stay on top of all upcoming rodeos, entry and call in dates, and other deadlines.
